Surfacing
All machine and hand laid work shall be carried out by trained, experienced operatives. Coated materials shall be laid and compacted within the guidelines of the British Standard.
Planing
Planing machines are available in 2 m, 1 m and 350 mm widths to accommodate any type of contract. The 350 mm planer is a useful machine for small contracts and reduces the need for the use of a compressor and jack hammer and the likelihood of “hand arm vibration syndrome”.
Lining
Thermoplastic paint for lines and markings are applied by trained experienced operatives. We can also offer a Cold Plastic MMA system for high stress areas and for concrete surfaces. Lettering and logos etc. are also part of the service.
Road Sweeping
Maintenance of your road, car park or yard is paramount in achieving longevity of the surface. They should be swept at least once a year to remove any loose grit etc. from damaging the surface. Gullies can also be cleaned out to eliminate blocked drains and possible flooding.
Traffic Management
We undertake all types of temporary traffic and pedestrian management including lane closures, contraflows, narrow lane systems and traffic lights for any surfacing contracts we carry out.
Mono Blocks
Lifting and relaying mono blocks that tie into the road surfacing can be carried out as part of our contract package. We also carry out minor civil engineering works including kerbing and drainage channels, excavation and sub-base formation.
